Dd wrt inadyn not updating
I have even created a test build from a clean SVN checkout with the same results. I can confirm that this issue exists in DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/17/11) mega - build 17084M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko running on an Asus RT-N16: [email protected]:~# inadyn --dyndns_system [email protected]…DDNS only doesn't work when using the linaro toolchain. -a xxx.Mon Jun 6 2011: INADYN: Started 'INADYN Advanced version 1.96-ADV' - dynamic DNS updater.Mon Jun 6 2011: I: INADYN: IP address for alias 'xxx.dyndns.org' needs update to 'xxx.xxx' Segmentation fault [email protected]:~# which inadyn /usr/sbin/inadyn [email protected]:~# inadyn --version Mon Jun 6 2011: Version: 1.96-ADV [email protected]:/opt/etc/samba# nslookup dyna.Segmentation fault It fails silently (i.e.just the "started" and "needs update" lines above) in the web GUI and /tmp/ddns/ Fri Aug 12 2011: INADYN: Started 'INADYN Advanced version 1.96-ADV' - dynamic DNS updater.Mon May 9 2011: INADYN: IP read from cache file is '71. [email protected]_DD-WRT:/# cat /tmp/ddns/Sat May 14 2011: Started 'Inadyn version 1.97.4' - dynamic DNS updater.
On telnet command line, I executed: /usr/sbin/inadyn --input_file /tmp/ddns/--username myuserid --password mypassword but my DDNS was still not updated... (I'm new to bugtrac system, sorry if the above is not helpful and please let me know what I should have done differently.
Thank you) DDNS isn't working with my latest test builds either.
Running mostly defaults, have setup wireless, static leases, sshd shell, and DDNS. I have same messages as whoisnader reported above -- the IP is checked and found to need update, but no update attempt is made.
cat /tmp/ddns/inadyn.conf, command line all correct except missing both my userid and my password parameters I've entered in the Web UI.
